Youth Worx
From the very start of this project, 23 weeks ago, it has been a huge team effort. A special shoutout to my amazing kitchen team. The unbelievable Love Your Doorstep volunteer drivers. You always go above and beyond. Emma Rigby, for making this possible in the first place and for your continuing and unwavering support. Thank you to Lucy, Pum and Tara for everything you do to make this project run on a daily basis. A few very big thank yous to Winchmore Hill Sports Club, Millfield Theatre, Felix Project, Paul Wheeler, Exodus YouthWorx UK and BBC London.
Thank you so much to @exodusywuk for their substantial donation. It has allowed us to continue support local families throughout the summer holidays. Special thanks to Tara for organising this. As part of her Exodus role has worked with Cooking Champions throughout the Covid relief project. She has coordinated a team of volunteer delivery drivers who are an essential link to ensure vulnerable members of the community are supported. We have also received a large number of food donations that we use in our meals and include in our food packages for families. Thanks again for all your hard work and the amazing donation. #teamwork #community #teamenfield #feedenfield #millfield #edmonton #enfield #exodus #families #holidayswithouthunger

“Thank you so much. We received our supply today and we’re very grateful to you. May the Lord bless you and be in good health even as your souls prosper by God’s grace.”
“You will never know how much you have helped. Thank you, Exodus YouthWorx.”
“I told the girls that God had put food on the table – quite literally.”
“The food supply we had was a very great help for our family.”
“I got involved with Exodus early on into Lockdown via my school… who would have known what it grew into or how many families it would help way back then. It has been a journey for me, meeting and helping others. We just don't know what goes on behind closed doors. Working with Tara and the rest of the team has been a privilege, meeting new people, making new friends. Happy to know we have made a massive difference to many. Lovely to meet families and people that are so appreciative of the help. We all work together for the benefit of our community.”

Mojisola - Volunteer and local parent
"Over the last 6 months I have been helping and volunteering with Exodus YouthWorx UK, from helping to distribute food to food hubs over the lockdown period to delivering essential packages to vulnerable families. I have been lucky to be a part of an amazing charity and team!“
“As a school community we were able to benefit massively from the generosity and proactive work that Exodus YouthWorx provides for the local community and families. We were able to offer targeted families essential food items as well as prepared meals. It was a great support for many families and the conversations and messages of thanks came in every week. It was an absolute pleasure to work closely and support Tara and Exodus YouthWorx UK with food deliveries and a number of school staff thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in the overall project.”
“I feel lucky that I have been able to help over the last few months, and it’s made me much more aware of the needs of the community, having always been involved in youth work this was from a different side and very challenging. It was good to meet so many different people too.”
